I was born in England several centuries ago and my family emigrated to Australia when I was ten.

At first, we lived in New South Wales then Victoria for a while till we moved back to N.S.W. I started off my working career as an apprentice sparks (Electrician), then moved to electronics, after which I worked on a SCADA system (Look it up, it'll be fun. Trust me!) for twenty years, till finally after finishing my MBA I became a manager, after which I took a redundancy, going back to Uni.

Now, I find myself with a lovely wife, three great kids, two wonderful grandchildren and a cat. I’ve also managed to snaffle a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing, Master of Management, an MBA and an MA in Creative Writing. I finished my undergrad in 2022, don’t ask, unless you’ve time for three or four coffees.

In 2018, I decided to turn professional and become a full-time writer. Which means I plan my future to be as poor as a church mouse. Not that it matters, I love to write and, while not studying, I’ve been spending more time on my writing, and the marketing of same – which is why I created this web site.

Throughout my life I’ve had three passions that have stayed with me; Martial Arts (I've a black belt in Tae Kwon Do), Information Technology and Creative Writing. Due to knee and hip troubles I had to give up on Tae Kwon Do a few years ago but I still dabble in IT, now though as a hobbyist and I write as much as I can. The genres I tend to write in the most are; Speculative Fiction, Fantasy and Romance. Though I did write my first SF/Horror short story in 2021 as a uni assignment.

Most days you’ll find me writing, typing (urg),volunteering with the RFS, spending time with my wife, kids, grandkids and (Post Covid) travelling when we can.
